Long weekends are so great! I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving. I spent the day at  Texies house this year with her and Brandon.  I’m so grateful for the way they’ve welcomed me into their family! I’m truly blessed!  We had amazing Thanksgiving tamales and watched movies all day. I loved it!

I spent the rest of my weekend finishing my final projects for school and getting my apartment ready for my
UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER PARTY!! Woohoo!

I completely decked out my apartment this year. It’s my first Christmas with no roommates so I figured I could go crazy if I wanted too, right?

I made a paper chain from some of the maps that I got for free from the library and put to use some of the photography props I had in my closets. I think all in all it came together pretty well! I’m pretty happy with it.

My Ugly Christmas Sweater Party was a blast! Everyone had awesome sweaters! I set up photobooth in my room with the most perfect background EVER! The pics turned out great though! Here are a few of my faves…

I leave for Seattle next Friday so the next post you’ll see will be from the Northwest! I’m finally getting to see my family after TWO LONG YEARS! Can’t wait!!

Published!!

Most of you know that I’ve been working for a new magazine that will be coming out in January.

Well, I’m proud to announce that some of my earlier pictures have been published in a smaller publication called House and Home! Amy, the editor brought them to me today on our shoot.

These are free magazines, so pick one up if you see one!

My pictures were originally going to be published in the Nov/Dec issue but the magazine launch date got pushed back so they used the pictures I’d already done in other publications.

We just shot the cover for the Jan issue a few weeks ago. I’ll definitely put those up as soon as it comes out.  I’m WAY excited about these pictures. They’re beautiful.
